Post Ten - Finish

I always have thought is too difficult for me learn another language. In school and university we only have to learn English and this language was never interesting for me, I have never listened music in English, I prefer Spanish even portuguese music, but not in English. This process to learn it has been hard, because I feel I know some words by listening but I don’t find the correct order to speak the idiom and I finish talking like an English tarzan. Instead Portuguese is easier for me to learn, and I like more of course.

However I couldn’t say I have no learned, because I have realize that if I know more vocabulary becomes easier create sentences in my head and speak normally or less wrong. I am aware about the importance of learning English, and principally because I would like to travel around the world and I know English in the language everybody know in almost every country.

When I went to Bolivia, I meet England people but I didn’t know how to communicate with them, anyway was a very fun experience but I understood the importance to learn, because even Chinese people talked in English, and that was the language everybody, from every part of the world, used for communicate.

I have to say this class has been helpful for me, I know I need to improve by practicing, reading or listening music in English. The use of blogs and funny topics sharing with my classmates is one of the things I like of this class because is a different and easier way to learn this hard language for me.

Post Nine - University Carrer Dance

The University of Chile is a very special institution !! , To start is a public institution, is the reflection of our country, an organization excessively bureaucratic where everything easy becomes a headache, every time you need to carry out a process or request something, you must pass several barriers and approvals of People in your life you see in the corridors, keep their employers on unstable contracts where they also do not receive their salaries on the corresponding dates, in addition to filling functions, not only perform pedagogical tasks but also administrative and research (which Is not bad in just measure) but if you tell us that major charges must follow the same line wanting to control most things without distributing functions so that they are well resolved.
Another point is its instructure, it constantly maintains the elevators in repairs, causing more than once some accident, this is because of its technology in general is a very old building, with very basic technological resources.
Their teaching methods I believe that if they continue to maintain the same professors that for a thousand years they are, there will be no renewal of the current trends or needs that the young people who will enter are waiting for what it means to study dance.
I hope that in the near future the faculty of arts will be considered more, it is a faculty that needs real spaces of encounter between careers, to generate meetings and networks between the students. Must possess spaces of relaxation, places worthy to be able to have lunch and to share.

Post Eight - Birds of Chile (and the world)

Every specie in this world is unique and important for keep the natural balance. Birds have an important role in whole world, because they are in charge to help with pollination flowers and trees, so knowing that we can understand how much necessary are birds for all living being, without flowers and trees life for animals is impossible.

Other birds are in charge to control plagues or clean the earth from dead animals. Birds have been inspiration for too many kinds of art, human always have dreamed about flying with no machine but their own as well as birds do. That is why planes were made, and currently a lots of extreme sports like skydiving, parapente, wing suit, etc., in which human try to feel what birds feel every day of their life.

In Santiago every time fewer birds are seen, because the buildings replacing trees and asphalt replacing grass, so they have no places to live. Having cats are a reason for less birds, because people don’t sterilize their cats and naturally they hunt their food.  

Birds I see almost every day are Gorriones and Zorzales, doves, parrots, queltehues, tiuque, tortolas. When I go for a walk in “panul” (a hill in Santiago) I see codornices, peucos and a kind of jotes.  I love zorzal because the variety of sounds emitted by the bird, is amazing. Queltehues reminds me rainy days because they sing after rain. I would like to see a Condor. Because their wingspan are one of the biggest flying birds in the whole world. I think that is an experience I have to live at least once in life.

Post Seven - Hello Everyone!

Maybe the place closer than the place I dream in Brazil. I love sun, sunny days and sunbaths. Here in Chile, Santiago, you can have horrible hot days because the ocean is no close to this city, and in almost every city you have cold days. I hate cold days, winter, or clothe for frozen days, this is too much clothe and that is not comfortable for me. I went in Brazil few years ago and I liked so much because too many reasons.
In first the weather is perfect for me, as I mentioned: Sunny days, sea, sunbathes. People are obviously different in what they think about life and that is one of the things I love of Brazil. I don´t care if I live alone, with friends or family, I just want to have a place where sleep, rest and put my staffs. Actually I don´t want to buy a house in some place because I would like to travel all the time, knowing as much as I can. Maybe when I can dance no more I would like to live in a specific place but in Brazil.
There is totally suitable for my type of work “dance” because there are lots of dances which have ancient histories like slavery for example and the freedom of those bad habits. I have some known people who went there to learn more about dance and tell me the great experience they live by knowing the marvelous culture of those people living with total connection with their body expression.

Post Six - Movies or series you like.

I have no time for watching TV or being on internet, but when I can I enjoy watching movies and some series like “Black mirror”.  This serie talks about every current social failures, like this zombie transformation because the use of smart phones and all the technology it brings for us, obviously exaggerating like a future view of society if we keep going depending of “people likes” and what people think of our acts, etc.  “Mr. robot” is similar in content and is it a very good serie.
About movies I enjoy rest in the sofa eating something and watching every movie as long as it is good, no those typically yankee movies what you can guess everything that will happen. I like movies with an interesting content, has to say something important, because somebody else must to see the mad reality we live today and create movies for people awake.

When I can I watch Natgeo wild channel and some animal documentaries which are awesome, perfectly made, with amazing camera shots and you can realize there are more than people in the world, because we forget about that.
Also I like to watch cartoons for adults, like American dad, Family guy, Ren & Stimpy but just when I find this programs on tv, as I said before I have no too much time for stay quiet and watch some movies or series, I would like more time for enjoy those I like.

Summer Holidays

In this summer holidays I would like to go abroad. My principal idea was going to Bolivia and Peru whit a cousin but probably we won’t because the money. Anyway, if we don´t travel abroad will go to the beach or some nice place for resting and having fun far away from the capital city.

In Bolivia I would like to visit on more the "Sun Island" for a couple days, and places there I missed for lack of time.  Actually I would like travel through all the world, Latin America for begin. More than know a specific place I would like to know everywhere, different cultures, different ways to see the same I do, but from another place in the same world. Taste all the food I can, but no so much exotic like rats or eggs with chicks inside, just eat what a want. Traveling around the world I could learn all the ways to dance, learn others ways to body language. Also I would like to practice some extreme sports, lose the fear through the knowledge, and lose the fear to lose.
If I stay in Chile I am going to the beach for sure, I enjoy the ocean and I hope I could take a ride on a boat or on a “banano”. Whatever I´ll go I know it will be a place for rest, for having fun, take new experiences and take a breath for keep going this new year!
